Katrina Leskanich, formerly of Katrina and the Waves, is best known for her powerful voice and distinctive presence in the 1980s music scene. Originally from the U.S., Katrina moved to the U.K., where she joined the Waves, forming the band that would deliver some of the most memorable pop-rock hits of the decade.

With her bold style—a blend of pop-rock energy and soul-inspired vocals—Katrina broke the mould of conventional pop frontwomen, exuding a unique combination of grit and charisma that set her apart. Her commanding stage presence, paired with her unapologetic fashion choices and rock-infused style, made her instantly recognizable and a favourite among fans of the era.

In 2025, Katrina will join 80’s Orchestral in Dublin, adding new depth to her hits with full orchestral backing.
